Azubike EmodiMANAGING DIRECTOR
Azubike Emodi is the Managing Director of VFD Microfinance Bank. He is a resourceful financial service specialist with experience in retail and commercial banking.
He worked with Zenith Bank before joining Maxxon Pro Service Inc. in Canada where he worked as an Investment Advisor/Financial Planner. Until this appointment at VFD Microfinance Bank, he was a Client Advisor (Personal and Commercial Banking) with the Royal Bank of Canada.
He is a member of IFIC (Investment Fund in Canada) and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, an MBA in Management and an M.Sc. Banking and Finance all from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Azubike is also an Executive Director of VFD Group Limited and oversees the Commercial Directorate.
Kanayo Eni-Ikeh General Manager, Business Development
Kanayo Eni-Ikeh is the General Manager, Business development at VFD Microfinance Bank. Kanayo holds a BSc in Geological Sciences from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He began his career as the Head of Business Development at Process Flow Outsourcing Limited.
Kanayo has over twelve years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry which spans across banking operations, retail, business and commercial banking. Prior to joining VFD Microfinance Bank, he was Head of Business Banking Diamond Bank, Sango-Otta branch and later became Head Commercial Banking at Fidelity Bank, Ogba branch.
He initially joined VFD Group as the Head of Institutional Sales and successfully promoted the organization’s products and services to institutional clients.
Kanayo has attended various executive programs at The Lagos Business School (with specialization in Management and Strategy).
He is an alumnus of The Indian School of Business (with special focus in Global Growth Entrepreneurship).
Muyiwa OyedokunHead, Internal Control
Muyiwa Oyedokun is the Head of Internal Control at VFD Microfinance Bank. He holds a BSc in Accounting from Lagos State University, Ojo. He started his career with Intercontinental Bank plc in 2005 and has over 10 years accumulated practical experience in core banking, accounting and control.
Prior to his appointment as the Head of Internal Control unit at VFD Microfinance bank, he worked with the Internal Control and Audit unit at Fortis/SMC MFB and Internal Control Officer at Primera MFB.
As the Head of Internal Control at VFD Microfinance Bank, Muyiwa has an oversight function over budget, accounts reconciliation, regulatory compliance reporting, revenue and cost assurance, asset and liability management, and internal audit.
He is currently undergoing a Microfinance Certification Program with the chattered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
Seun OgunmodedeHead of Operations
Seun Ogunmodede is the Head of Operations at VFD Microfinance Bank. She holds a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, and has a working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics. Seun has worked in roles involving managerial and operational duties at VFD Bridge Limited.
She is currently undergoing a Microfinance Certification Programme with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
