Azubike Emodi Managing Director
Azubike Emodi is the Managing Director of VFD Microfinance Bank. He is a resourceful financial service specialist with experience in retail and commercial banking. He worked with Zenith Bank before joining Maxxon Pro Service Inc. in Canada where he worked as an Investment Advisor/Financial Planner. Until this appointment at VFD Microfinance Bank, he was a Client Advisor (Personal and Commercial Banking) with the Royal Bank of Canada.
Azubike is a member of IFIC (Investment Fund in Canada) and also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, an MBA in Management and an M.Sc. Banking and Finance all from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Chidi AgbanusiHead of Finance
Chidi Agbanusi is the Head of Finance at VFD Microfinance Bank. He has over 9 years of experience in the financial services sector working with corporates like the United Bank for Africa Plc. He is proficient in collections, financial reporting, remittance, financial analysis, and taxation.
He is a professional member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and National Institute of Management (NIM), and has completed the Microfinance Certification Programme with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
Chukwudi OnuohaHead, Internal Control
Chukwudi Onuoha is the Head of Internal Control at VFD Microfinance Bank. He holds a BSc. in Accounting from Imo State University, Owerri. He started his career as an accountant with Gramet Group, and has over a decade experience in the financial services industry, spanning roles in Operations and Customer Service, with Oceanic Bank and EcoBank.
As the Head of Internal Control at VFD Microfinance Bank, Chukwudi has an oversight function over budget, accounts reconciliation, regulatory compliance reporting, revenue and cost assurance, asset and liability management, and internal audit.
He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Seun OgunmodedeHead of Operations
Seun Ogunmodede is the Head of Operations at VFD Microfinance Bank. She holds a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, and has a working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics. Seun has worked in roles involving managerial and operational duties at VFD Bridge Limited.
She is currently undergoing a Microfinance Certification Programme with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
David MajekodunmiBusiness Development
David Majekodunmi handles Business Development at VFD Microfinance Bank. He studied Economics at Olabisi Onabanjo University. He started his career with community service at the Student in Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization where he managed youth groups to deliver value adding projects to communities. After that, he played a Business Support and Development role with Chevron Nigeria Limited and Dugo Limited. He manages Business Development at VFD Microfinance Bank with competence in brand promotion strategy, and business planning.
He is a member of the National Institute of Marketing (NIM) and Project Management Institute (PMI).
